Almond Matcha Latte- Vegan

Almond Matcha Latte-Vegan from California’s Almond Board

Naturally sweet without adding sugar, this delicious Almond Matcha Latte serves up a whole lot of nutrition in one drink. For those who do not drink dairy or soy, it’s a wonderful alternative recipe with almond milk. The recipe includes kale, considered to be one of the healthiest vegetables around.

Add matcha, loaded with even more chlorophyll, vitamin C and anti-oxidants; then some additional almond butter, and you end up with a very healthful power-punching green protein drink. Let’s not forget the chia seeds- loaded with fiber, protein, Omega-3 fatty acids and various micro-nutrients. Add a touch of vanilla and this yummy, delicious latte becomes a great way to start the day!

1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder (we use Barista’s Matcha)
